Yes, You Can Change the World
Have you ever looked at the world’s problems and thought:
“What can I possibly do about it?”
The answer is: Everything.
You are the most powerful person in the entire world. It’s true.
You don’t believe it? Good. Now go and try it for yourself. Go on, go change the world.
What do you need? An idea on how to start? If you want, consider this: When his world was becoming an impossible prison, Thomas Paine took to the streets with pamphlets titled Common
Sense. That one man and his pamphlets are widely credited with sparking the American Revolution. If you are concerned about the world’s problems, you’re standing three steps up from where most people sit.
- You’re reading this right now, meaning you have the time and ability to ask “Why are things this way?”
- You understand the world’s problems, having asked and researched the right question.
- You care enough about the world’s problems to think “What can I do to help?”
Having three steps up on most people, it’s your job to help others see things from your point of view. You can be the glasses of the people so they can big picture. How might you accomplish this?
Tell your friends.
If you have 7 friends and you turn 3 of them on to real news and knowledge, and they do the same, you will create a snowball effect. The size of the snowball is unlimited. You can create an avalanche of change, just by word of mouth. You can also distribute flyers and send emails. Use your creativity.
What should you campaign for? That’s up to you. Tomorrow, I’ll share with you my thoughts on the most effective propaganda to create change.
