Don’t Tase Me = Voting Rights, Civil Liberties, Truth in Media, and Peace on Earth
This blog is intended to be an archive of the truth.
The truth (and when I say the truth I mean the Truth, the Whole Truth, and nothing but The Truth) is rarely if ever found on television.
Praise be to God the Truth is on the internet.
A problem for many? The internet lives in a million different places, addresses, forums, and links.
I intend to collect every news report, video, and truthful opinion piece I find that rarely gets reported on in the mainstream media.
A lot of my material will come from Digg.com, or as I call it, The Real News.
But hopefully, a lot of it will come from you. I have received thousands of e-mails in the time since my arrest, and hopefully I can put my notoriety to good use. You the people have demanded information, and you the people have also provided information. I have learned from your e-mails, and hopefully the truth will continue to out.
My e-mail is AndrewWilliamMeyer@gmail.com, and I will always post relevant, truthful material.
The time for important issues to surface is now.
God bless our world, and God bless you, the rarest of birds, the intelligent reader.
Great Job Andrew,
The fight for our rights and freedom depend on the work of the people and i think it’s great to see that so many rise up to the challenge.
Peace only comes from the inside (as corny and obvious it may sound) Our actions come from our motivations and so the roots of our actions come from the mind. So to reach peace we must believe it and want it.
It’s unfortunate that many sit infront of their televisions and believe everything that comes out of it. Becauses it’s from that point that their minds are ‘manipulated’. Their actions and thoughts reflect what they see on TV and as you know, what you see on TV is bullshit, violence, hatred and some more bullshit.
It’s time the people woke up, got out of their living rooms and opened a can of WOOP ASS!
An extract from the diary of Lieutenant Colonel Mervin Willett Gonin DSO who was
among the first British soldiers to liberate Bergen-Belsen in 1945.
I can give no adequate description of the Horror Camp in which my men and myself were to spend the next month of our lives. It was just a barren wilderness, as bare as a chicken run. Corpses lay everywhere, some in huge piles, sometimes they lay singly or in pairs where they had fallen. It took a little time to get used to seeing men women and children collapse as you walked by them and to restrain oneself from going to their assistance. One had to get used early to the idea that the individual just did not count. One knew that five hundred a day were dying and that five hundred a day were going on dying for weeks before anything we could do would have the slightest effect. It was, however, not easy to watch a child choking to death from diptheria when you knew a tracheotomy and nursing would save it, one saw women drowning in their own vomit because they were too weak to turn over, and men eating worms as they clutched a half loaf of bread purely because they had to eat worms to live and now could scarcely tell the difference. Piles of corpses, naked and obscene, with a woman too weak to stand proping herself against them as she cooked the food we had given her over an open fire; men and women crouching down just anywhere in the open relieving themselves of the dysentary which was scouring their bowels, a woman standing stark naked washing herself with some issue soap in water from a tank in which the remains of a child floated. It was shortly after the British Red Cross arrived, though it may have no connection, that a very large quantity of lipstick arrived. This was not at all what we men wanted, we were screaming for hundreds and thousands of other things and I don’t know who asked for lipstick. I wish so much that I could discover who did it, it was the action of genius, sheer unadulterated brilliance. I believe nothing did more for these internees than the lipstick. Women lay in bed with no sheets and no nightie but with scarlet red lips, you saw them wandering about with nothing but a blanket over their shoulders, but with scarlet red lips. I saw a woman dead on the post mortem table and clutched in her hand was a piece of lipstick. At last someone had done something to make them individuals again, they were someone, no longer merely the number tatooed on the arm. At last they could take an interest in their appearance. That lipstick started to give them back their humanity.
Peace on Earth. What a concept!
The current agenda to promote war as peace is stifling.
We are further gone than we are aware. That piece from the liberation of Bergen-Belsen shows us that we’ve forgotten — or never knew — history.
Shameful in a nation that considers itself Number One.
Good blog. Truth is essential.
Exactly in fact i think we’ve turned ourselves away from History and it’s lesson. Ignored it, Only to make the same mistakes again.
Alot of people have turned their backs to the serious issues which everyday people face today. The ignorance is what continues to slow down the efforts to reverse the actions already taken to remove our freedoms.
But then against there were protest against the involvement in Iraq before the war even began. So thats a good sign. Though it’s time people stop relying on others to do the work, it’s time we ALL do something about it.
Because after all it’s OUR freedoms and way of life we are fighting for.
Recent Hugo Chavez Referendum
There are clear misunderstandings concerning the recent Referendum held by Hugo Chavez. The media portrays Hugo Chavez as a “Dictator”, an image also upheld by Washington and not surprisingly other Western nations like Australia. He is now the new Saddam of South America, a direct “threat” to the democracy of the Venezuelan people and if not the American people.
This is completely FALSE. Lesson number 1; never believe what the media tells you to believe. Because 99% percent of the time it holds no solid evidence to back up what it says and only serves the interests of its owners. If Hugo was really a dictator, then the recent failed referendum is a clear contradiction. So here’s what the Referendum was really about:
– The media stated that by removing the Presidential term limits, Hugo would be able to “rule” Venezuela for life. This is a myth, by removing the limit does not automatically mean he would win the term(s), but it would be up to the people. In fact President Clinton suggested the same thing when he was in office. So why wasn’t he called a Dictator? It is obvious that a healthy democracy is not in the best interests of America.
– The referendum if won would have allowed Hugo to changed many things within the constitution concerning property, social welfare etc… ultimately in the future giving power back to the people of Venezuela. But why did Washington despise this? Well it’s because of OIL, lots of it. The U.S department of Energy documents that Venezuela sits on 1.36 TRILLION barrels of Oil. 5 times more than Saudi Arabia. Think about all the oil… And the worst thing about it is that Hugo seeks to put the oil in the hands of no other than, the Venezuelan people.
In his time in office Hugo Chavez was criticized by Washington for using the Oil profits of Venezuela on Social Welfare programs. Drilling for more should have been his number one priority, in their eyes. He also unlike other Venezuelan presidents withdrew 23 billions dollars from the U.S Federal Reserve. This was unheard of as other Venezuelan presidents already dirt poor always lent money to the U.S Federal Reserve. However Hugo intended to keep Venezuelan money in Venezuela, and use it to continue to help and empower his people.
His not just an enemy of Washington but Big Oil companies as well, Hugo Chavez asked Exxon to pay more than the mere 1% of royalties to Venezuela for the large amounts of oil they had extracted. For them this 1% is already too much.
Do not be fooled by the Media, Hugo is building a healthy democratic nation. This is the last thing that America wants and they will stop at nothing in order to destroy his efforts to continue. As Reverend Pat Robertson said himself: “Hugo Chavez thinks we’re trying to assassinate him. I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it… It’s a whole lot cheaper than starting a war, and I don’t think any oil shipments will stop…We don’t need another $200 billion war…It’s a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with”.
Wow – having your mom defend you on national tv is pathetic. I am shocked you changed your site after the incident. You are now framing yourself as a serious journalist fighting for my rights. Thanks for nothing.
