The Mayan Calendar explained
We’ve all heard so much about it – 2012, the end of the Mayan calendar. But what does it mean? The end of the world? Daniel Pinchbeck, in his book 2012 – The Return of Quetzlcoatl described this time period as a return of consciousness. In the following video, Ian Xel Lunsgold elaborates at length on what that means.

For those who would like some Cliff’s Notes, here are mine:
Emotion and choice: The higher your emotional state, the more choices you have. An angry person has a limited range of choices, while an enthusiastic or ecstatic person has unlimited choices. At this point in time, you can choose your emotional state. You can notice when you become angry, sending you up the emotional scale until you reach a better place.
Accept and discern: Yes, there are bad guys out there, and I choose to inform other people about them and offer and walk a different path as my way of living, but I do not resist them. They will do harm to those that resist, and focusing on them will rob you of your energy. Instead, walk the other way and lead others by example.
How to manifest: To manifest your truest desires requires four things – attention, intention, integrity, intuition. Attention, meaning you are aware of your time and place. Intention, meaning you are focusing on what you truly want. Integrity, meaning you are acting, have acted, and will act in accordance with what you know to be human dignity. Intuition, meaning you are channeling beyond your conscious mind, connecting to a higher power than yourself. This process allows you to connect to the source of all life, and be in the present, out of the limiting thoughts of your mind. You can use these tools to manifest your heart’s desires.
This is the age of conscious co-creation. We are still seeing the results of the “consciousness of ethics” today, but this is an effect of the past. In order to create the future we want to see, we have to start relying on our intuition, and feel the needs of one another. Everyone on this planet is intimately connected, and the more conscious we are of this, the more we understand the power of our every action, our every thought. This is also why it is good to meditate/pray/connect to the divine when you wake up or before you go to bed. The more conscious you are of the higher power, the more you are in touch with Him/Her/It.
Salaam Aleichem, Namaste, Peace be with you, Shalom.
