While Popular Mechanics, a subsidiary of the Hearst Corporation famous for “yellow journalism,” claims that water fuel is “rubbish,” a Japanese company also claims to have built a water-powered car. David Mamet, the playwright who wrote Glengarry Glen Ross, also wrote a play entitled The Water Engine, about the violent suppression of alternative fuels.
